LGANT has developed the Long Service Awards as a way to recognise long term contributions to local government by officers and elected members. Councils can nominate those who have served 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30+ years for any Northern Territory local government body.
The awards are open to current and former local government officers and elected members. Service does not need to be continuous and includes those on community government councils prior to 2008.
Councils can nominate its long serving officers and/or elected members by submitting the Long Service Award nomination forms below.
