February has been a busy start to 2026 for LGANT. Since the end of 2025, we’ve made 13 submissions on behalf of the sector, with the most significant being the Local Government Funding and Fiscal Sustainability Inquiry, which was reopened last year. Our advocacy continues to focus on ensuring the needs and priorities of Northern Territory councils are represented at every level.
