July has been another busy month for LGANT, progressing key advocacy, governance and member engagement priorities on behalf of councils across the Territory.
This month also saw councils across the Northern Territory (NT) celebrate NAIDOC Week 2026, recognising and celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. LGANT was proud to support and promote NAIDOC Week activities and acknowledge the important role local government plays in fostering strong, inclusive and connected communities.
