LGANT Streamlining Procurement

LGANT and Local Buy are excited to co-host a Local Buy update and VendorPanel training session to support councils in the NT with their procurement processes.

Local Buy enables NT councils to streamline procurement through 41 pre-qualified supplier arrangements. By using Local Buy, councils can engage suppliers through Requests for Quote (RFQs) rather than performing lengthy tenders, saving time and ensuring compliance. Many councils are already benefiting from this streamlined approach, supported by an NTG exemption.

This session will provide:

• A recap of Local Buy’s benefits for councils
• A demonstration of how to use VendorPanel, including:
  • Finding suppliers in your region
  • Creating a shortlist for RFQs
  • Accessing compliance documentation, insurance, and pricing
  • Issuing, monitoring, and finalising RFQs

This one-hour session will empower councils to confidently utilise VendorPanel for their procurement
