LGANT November 2026 Conference | 10 and 11 November | Alice Springs

The LGANT November Conference is the Northern Territory local government sector’s premier annual event.

In November 2026, LGANT will bring together elected members, CEOs, senior council staff and sector partners in Alice Springs for two days of discussion, learning and connection focused on the priorities shaping local government across the Territory.

The conference will also incorporate LGANT’s Annual General Meeting.

Call For Motions

LGANT member councils are invited to submit motions for consideration at the LGANT November 2026 Conference and Annual General Meeting.

Motions provide an important opportunity for councils to raise matters of significance to the local government sector and help shape LGANT’s advocacy priorities.

Motions are due by COB 29 September 2026. Notice was provided on 16 July 2026, councils are encouraged to submit motions by the deadline. No extensions will be granted to allow sufficient time for the preparation and distribution of AGM papers.
