Advocacy and Policy

LGANT develops and advocates policy positions on behalf of its member councils across several areas and works hard to represent the collective views to the other spheres of government. Policy priorities and decisions are made through LGANT General and Board Meetings. Many issues also arise through Northern Territory and Australian government policy and program development.
