The National Awards for Local Government (National Awards) are an annual celebration of local government achievements in Australia. The National Awards reward local governments that are creative, strive to improve their communities, exhibit excellence, and produce results.

The 11 categories include all elected local government organisations, local government associations, and other acknowledged organisations that directly serve communities.
